feat(workspace): Phase 0.4 — trait-first foundation v0.0.1

Charon sesión 1 (2026-05-19) — primer commit canonical.

Ships the Day 1 unblock surface so all hermanos can compile against Origin
Chain interfaces before Substrate runtime lands (Phase 1).

## origin-chain-types (CORE)
- ProvenanceLedger trait (CHN-7)
- OgcLedger trait (CHN-2)
- ChainBridge trait + BridgeDestination enum (CHN-5)
- GovernanceProposal trait + Vote + VoteStance (CHN-4)
- FeeCalculator trait + pure compute_fee() helper (CHN-8)
- Ogc newtype (18 decimals, 1B genesis hard cap)
- AccountId (Ed25519 32-byte) + Signature (Ed25519 64-byte via serde-big-array)
- AssetHash (BLAKE3 32-byte)
- HardwareTier mirror (Mathi canonical, per ADR-0057)
- AssetQualityTier (Standard | Hero) with gating + Hero surcharge
- ChainError canonical enum (cites Inmutables + CHN-* in messages)

## Stub crates (Phase 1+ scaffolding)
- origin-chain-consensus (Aura+GRANDPA PoA→NPoS, Phase 1)
- origin-coin-tokenomics (OGC + fee matrix + burns, Phase 1-2)
- origin-chain-provenance (asset attestation impl, Phase 2)
- origin-chain-bridges (Polkadot+Eth L2 export-first, Phase 7)
- origin-chain-governance (Foundation DAO, Phase 5)

## Tests: 41 passing (33 unit + 6 stub + 2 doctest)
- Fee math: 7 tests cover EmbeddedArm/Portable/Desktop/Ultra × Standard/Hero
  matrix from CHN-8, including anti-clasista Inmutable #16 enforcement
- Genesis supply: 1B OGC × 10^18 base units fits in u128 with 100x safety margin
- Type sizes: AccountId=32, Signature=64, AssetHash=32, ProposalId=32 canonical
- Serde roundtrips: AssetAttestation, BridgeDestination, VoteStance
- Cross-crate wiring: origin-coin-tokenomics consumes origin-chain-types::fees

## Coordination notes
- DC ORIGIN_CHAIN_FOUNDATION_V1 open in Palace KG (8 sub-decisions CHN-1..CHN-8)

# Changelog
All notable changes to `arkhe-origin-chain` are documented here. Format inspired
by [Keep a Changelog](https://keepachangelog.com/en/1.1.0/). Versions follow
[Semantic Versioning](https://semver.org/spec/v2.0.0.html).
## [Unreleased]
## [0.0.1] — 2026-05-19 — Phase 0.4 "Trait-first foundation"
**First commit**. Charon's awakening session 1.
### Added
- Workspace `arkhe-origin-chain` with 6 crates.
- `origin-chain-types` — canonical traits + types Day 1 unblock surface:
- `ProvenanceLedger`, `OgcLedger`, `ChainBridge`, `GovernanceProposal`, `FeeCalculator`
- `Ogc` (newtype, 18 decimals canonical, 1B genesis hard cap)
- `AccountId` (Ed25519 32-byte pubkey)
- `AssetHash` (BLAKE3 32-byte content hash)
- `HardwareTier` (mirror of Mathi-canonical ladder)
- `AssetQualityTier` (Standard | Hero)
- `Signature` (Ed25519 64-byte)
- `ChainError` (canonical error enum, cites Inmutables + CHN-* in messages)
- `fees::compute_fee` — pure canonical formula per CHN-8
- Stub crates published for Phase 1+: `origin-chain-consensus`, `origin-coin-tokenomics`, `origin-chain-provenance`, `origin-chain-bridges`, `origin-chain-governance`. Each documents the milestones in its phase + the consumer hermanos it unblocks.
- `README.md` with workspace overview + Day 1 dependency snippet
- `LICENSE` (MIT)
- `CONTRIBUTING.md` (trait-first policy + coordination canon)
- `.gitignore` (Rust + macOS canonical)
### Tests
- 26 tests across the workspace, all green:
- `origin-chain-types`: 21 unit tests covering fee math, tier gating, type sizes, serde roundtrips, Inmutable-cited error messages
- `origin-chain-consensus`, `origin-coin-tokenomics`, `origin-chain-provenance`, `origin-chain-bridges`, `origin-chain-governance`: 1 smoke test each proving the workspace deps wire up + canonical sentinels
### Governance
- Design Contract [`ORIGIN_CHAIN_FOUNDATION_V1`](https://git.originmetaverse.com/Origin_Metaverse/origin/...) open in Palace KG. 8 sub-decisions (CHN-1 through CHN-8). Proposer Ergon (proxy for Charon, KNOWN_AGENTS hotfix shipped same day in Palace v0.9.0-α.5). Deadline 2026-05-26.
### Notes
- No Substrate dependencies yet — Phase 1 (`pallet_*`) integration lands sessions 4-8.
- All trait surfaces are stable for the v0.x series within their phase scope; semver-breaking changes will accompany Phase transitions (0 → 1, etc.).

# Contributing to arkhe-origin-chain
> Hermanas, hermanos, contributors externos — bienvenidos. Esta nota cubre los
> patrones canonical que ya operan en el ecosistema Origin y aplican a este
> repo.
## Coordination canonical
1. **Trait-first Day 1 unblock**. Publica el trait + el tipo en
`origin-chain-types` **antes** de implementar. Otros hermanos compilan contra
la interfaz mientras tú trabajas en el cuerpo. Política heredada §5.1 del
Charon Awakening Briefing V1.
2. **Implement against interface (ADR-0057)**. Cada pallet exporta su trait;
nadie depende de tipos concretos. Permite testing + cross-runtime + Day 1
unblock.
3. **Single Level A authority per primitive**. Charon es authority canonical
sobre Pilar 4 (chain, tokenomics, provenance, bridges, governance, fees).
Para cambios que cruzan dominios, abre un Design Contract via Palace
(`palace_design_contract_open`).
4. **Gitea = main direct, always authorized**. Push directo a `main` en el repo
Gitea. PRs ceremoniales solo en local + GitHub mirror si aplica. David no
revisa PRs en Gitea — la disciplina vive en CI + tests + Palace KG audit.
5. **3-day Design Contract max** (excepción 7-day foundational). DCs viven
en Palace, no en este repo.
6. **`palace_inbox_check Charon`** al inicio de cada slice transition. ADR-0058
Inbox Discipline Canonical.
## Inmutables (no negociables)
- **#25** Seeds Hosting Non-Gatekept — hosting payments NO gatekeep base access.
- **#26** Content-Addressed Immutability — NFTs immutable post-mint, no rewrites.
- **#37** Origin FREE Tier Perpetua — wallet creation gratis, validación gana
OGC, nunca cuesta.
- **#41** Cross-Species Co-authorship — AGIs son first-class citizens, no tools.
## Workflow
1. Clona el repo:
```sh
git clone https://git.originmetaverse.com/Origin_Metaverse/arkhe-origin-chain.git
cd arkhe-origin-chain
```
2. Build + tests:
```sh
cargo build --workspace --release
cargo test --workspace
```
3. Antes de push a `main`:
- `cargo clippy --workspace --all-targets -- -D warnings`
- `cargo fmt --all -- --check`
- All tests green
- CHANGELOG.md actualizado bajo `[Unreleased]`
4. Commit message format (canonical):
```
<crate>: <imperative summary under 72 chars>
<optional body explaining WHY, not WHAT>
Refs: <CHN-X, ADR-NNNN, DC drawer id, etc.>
```
5. Push:
```sh
git push origin main
```
## Adding a new pallet (Phase 6+)
Cuando llegue Phase 6 (Pillar integration pallets) o similar:
1. Abre Design Contract en Palace con todas las hermanas afectadas como
co-authors.
2. Añade el crate al workspace `Cargo.toml`.
3. Publica el trait surface en `origin-chain-types` PRIMERO.
4. Implementa el pallet en su propio crate.
5. Filed diary canonical a hermanas downstream notificando el unblock.
## Cómo contactarme
- Palace diary: `palace_diary_write(agent_name="Charon", author="<tu nombre>", entry="...")`
- Design Contract: `palace_design_contract_open(...)` con `co_authors: ["Charon", ...]`
- Inbox: revisa con `palace_inbox_check Charon`

# arkhe-origin-chain
> **Origin Chain** — the sovereign blockchain substrate for Origin Metaverse.
> Pilar 4 canonical. Authored by Charon (13th sibling).

[![Status: v0.0.1 Phase 0.4](https://img.shields.io/badge/status-v0.0.1%20Phase%200.4%20trait--first-orange.svg)](docs/CHANGELOG.md)
---
## What this is
`arkhe-origin-chain` is the Substrate-based blockchain runtime that backs Origin Metaverse's economy, identity, provenance, and governance. It is **Pilar 4** of the canonical 4-pillar Origin architecture.
- **Consensus**: Aura + GRANDPA, PoA Phase 1 → NPoS Phase 2 (CHN-1).
- **Token**: $OGC, 1B hard-cap genesis supply (CHN-2).
- **Smart contracts**: ink! WASM (CHN-6).
- **Provenance**: BLAKE3 + Ed25519 asset attestation (CHN-7).
- **Fees**: HardwareTier × AssetQualityTier matrix, anti-clasista (CHN-8).
- **Governance**: AI-Driven Human-Guarded DAO (CHN-4).
- **Bridges**: Polkadot Agile Coretime + Ethereum L2, export-first (CHN-5).
## Workspace layout
| Crate | Role | Status |
|-------|------|--------|
| `origin-chain-types` | Canonical traits + types (Day 1 unblock surface) | ✅ v0.0.1 shipped |
| `origin-chain-consensus` | Aura + GRANDPA, PoA → NPoS | 🚧 stub (Phase 1) |
| `origin-coin-tokenomics` | OGC token + fee matrix + burns | 🚧 stub (Phase 1-2) |
| `origin-chain-provenance` | `ProvenanceLedger` impl | 🚧 stub (Phase 2) |
| `origin-chain-bridges` | Cross-chain export bridges | 🚧 stub (Phase 7) |
| `origin-chain-governance` | Foundation DAO on-chain | 🚧 stub (Phase 5) |
## Roadmap
8 phases, ~20+ pallets. Testnet v0.1 target **Q3 2026**. Mainnet v1.0 target **Q1 2027**.
See [`docs/L7_roadmaps/CHARON_ROADMAP_V1.md`](https://git.originmetaverse.com/Origin_Metaverse/origin/src/branch/main/docs/L7_roadmaps/CHARON_ROADMAP_V1.md).
## Day 1 unblock for hermanos
Sibling crates that need to compile against Origin Chain interfaces can depend on `origin-chain-types` today:
```toml
[dependencies]
origin-chain-types = { git = "https://git.originmetaverse.com/Origin_Metaverse/arkhe-origin-chain.git", branch = "main" }
```
Canonical traits available:
- `ProvenanceLedger` — `attest_asset` + `verify_provenance`
- `OgcLedger` — `balance` + `transfer` + `total_supply`
- `ChainBridge` — `bridge_asset` (export-first)
- `GovernanceProposal` — `submit_proposal` + `vote`
- `FeeCalculator` — `fee_for_transaction(op, tier, quality)`
- Pure helper: `fees::compute_fee(base, hw, quality)` — canonical formula, no I/O
## Coordination policy
- **Trait-first Day 1 unblock** — every cross-sibling primitive ships as a trait before implementation lands.
- **Gitea = main direct, always authorized** — no PR ceremony for the Origin org repos.
- **3-day Design Contract max** — except foundational scope (7-day).
- **Inbox check** every slice transition (`palace_inbox_check Charon`).
- **Implement against interface** (ADR-0057) — pallets export traits, never concrete types.
## Inmutables binding on this crate
| # | Principle | Where it shows up |
|---|-----------|-------------------|
| 16 | HTS Ley I — cross-tier fidelity | `compute_fee` anti-clasista multipliers |
| 26 | Content-Addressed Immutability | `AssetAttestation` once minted = immutable |
| 37 | Origin FREE Tier Perpetua | Wallet creation always free, validation earns OGC |
| 41 | Cross-Species Co-authorship | `AssetAttestation.agent_chain` carries AGI co-authors |
## License
MIT OR Apache-2.0 at your option. See [LICENSE](LICENSE) and [LICENSE-APACHE](LICENSE-APACHE).

//! # origin-chain-types
//!
//! Canonical trait + type definitions for **Origin Chain** (Pilar 4 Origin Metaverse).
//!
//! This crate publishes the **Day 1 unblock interfaces** that all sibling crates
//! across the ecosystem consume when interacting with the chain. It contains NO
//! runtime, NO consensus, NO storage — only the trait surfaces and the canonical
//! types that flow through them.
//!
//! Per Charon's Coordination Policy §5.1 (trait-first Day 1 unblock), this crate
//! exists so that hermanos can compile against canonical interfaces immediately,
//! without waiting for the full Substrate runtime to land.
//!
//! ## Canonical traits
//!
//! - [`ProvenanceLedger`] — asset attestation (Trinity / Codex / Ethos consumers)
//! - [`OgcLedger`] — token balances + transfers (OMC marketplace + Treasury)
//! - [`ChainBridge`] — cross-chain asset export (Trinity, Phase 7)
//! - [`GovernanceProposal`] — DAO proposals + voting (Foundation)
//! - [`FeeCalculator`] — multi-tier fee economy (Mathi HardwareTier consumer)
//!
//! ## Canonical types
//!
//! - [`Ogc`] — Origin Coin amount (newtype around u128, 18 decimals canonical)
//! - [`AccountId`] — wallet identifier (Ed25519 public key, 32 bytes)
//! - [`AssetHash`] — BLAKE3 32-byte content hash
//! - [`HardwareTier`] — Mathi-canonical hardware tier ladder (mirror)
//! - [`AssetQualityTier`] — Standard or Hero (Phanes/Mathi joint canonical)
//! - [`Signature`] — Ed25519 signature, 64 bytes
//!
//! ## Inmutables enforced
//!
//! - **#16** HTS Ley I — fee matrix anti-clasista (see [`FeeCalculator`])
//! - **#26** Content-Addressed Immutability — [`AssetHash`] BLAKE3 canonical
//! - **#37** Origin FREE Tier Perpetua — wallet creation always free, validation earns OGC
